The great thing to obtain is an equal tension on every spoke, otherwise the wheel will soon go out of truth when used. Before putting the wheels aside as finished, see if any of the spoke ends protrude through the nipples ; if so, file them off flush. Before proceeding to put the wheels to- gether look at the drilling of the rims, and see that the holes on the proper side of the rim are used.
