The atoms sat ion is brought about by the projection of the oil under high gas pressure through a specially constructed needle valve the atomiser bemg so constructed that the amount of oil passing into the main can be regulated in proportion to the quantitv of éas produced per hour. The Atomiser can be inserted into the Gas Main at any convenient point, and either a stationarv or portable compressing set can be supplied.
