go THE GARDEN UNDER GLASS warm, moist atmosphere such as is found in what gårdeners call a “ stove.” It may be syringed freely and forcibly to keep the plant growing and to ward off red-spider, or dislodge it if already there. The growth that is made one year flowers the next after the leaves have fallen. Wh en growth is completed (and this may be known by the growth terminating in a leaf and showing no more signs of extension) a temperature of 55° to 6o° will suit the plants well.
