because he puts his weight on one foot and lifts his other
foot out behind him, which does not tire the muscles of his
back nearly so much.
Slow motions do not necessarily cause less fatigue than
quick motions, and, per unit of work done, may cause
much more fatigue than quick motions.
The amount of work done per motion may not be
fatiguing proportionately to the size of the unit.
