THE EFFECT OF MOTION STUDY UPON THE WORKERS 1 Motion study makes all activity interesting. While, at first thought, this fact may not seem of great importance, in reality it is the cause of many of the far-reaching results obtained through motion study. Motion study consists of analys- ing an activity into its smallest possible elements, and from the results synthesising a method of performing the activity that shall be more ef- ficient,— the word 11 efficient ” being used in its highest sense. The process of motion study is such as to in- terest the worker.
