The pressure curve rises very abruptly right from the throat or inlet end of the nozzle. Fig. 18. It has been suggested that the correct form of delivery nozzle is one< in which pressure energy is produced at a uniform rate; that is, the difference between the pressures at any two equidistant sections of the nozzle is the same.
