If these first-aid instructions still fail to make the
engine start up, then it is advisable for the average
motorist to seek the aid of someone who specializes in
motor work, unless by study, experience, or natural
ability he feels competent to go into such questions as
the correct setting of the magneto, etc. In any case,
even to the fairly expert motorist, further dismantling
of the magneto is not to be recommended: put more
bluntly, though with more truth, it should, m fact, be
avoided, as adjustments beyond the nature of those
already alluded to require the return of the magneto to
the manufacturers.
