The end of the foundry opposite to that occupied by the furnace, is set apart for the storage and finishing, &c., a certain number of the Castings. All these tools are driven electrically. In fach, no steani or gas is used in the steel foundry, the lighting and trans- mission of power being provided from an electrical station.
