The two spåns that contain the shearing, annealing, and planishing plants also cover the space in which the plates will be finally inspectée! and delivered. Delivery on railway trucks will be made by means of two 8-ton electric overhead travellers. In this space there will be a shearing machine placed above the floor level, and provided witli casiers to carry the plate in course of being sheared; this machine will be used for cutting test-pieces oui of the plates, and for cutting plates to shape, especially circular plates. Two important annexes will be built for the production of the necessary steam and electric energy. The boilers, engines, etc., for this new plant are in course of construction in Messrs. Schneider and Co.’s Works.
