Not ØL Minute’s Trouble in øl Yeevr and a. Half.
A good record this, for an air compressor which has been in opera-
tion for a year and a half at the Argos, Ind., Water Works. The
Superintendent, A. A. Yarick, says:
“It has not given one minute’s trouble and not one cent’s worth
of repairs since it was started. The well that it works on is a 6-incli
well 216 feet deep, mid wc only use 35 pounds of air to opeiats it. The
compressor has increased the flow of ths well, as you will plainly see,
as W6 have a reservoir that holds 800 barrels that we pump into. The
first time that I filled the reservoir it took 1 houi and 40 minutes ; th©
second time, 1 hour und 30 minutøs, <ind the Ifist tinis, <ibout thioc
months ago, it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to throw the same amount
of water. This docs not ffo to show that it dcci cased the water in ths
well, but I know that it has increased tlie flow in this wsll that I
operate.”
