156 Pilots can be obtained off Fredericia at the entrance to the Little Belt. Outside and East of the harbour there is a wharf with 24 feet of water. Broker. M. P. Allerup. Nakskov. Nakskov, in Lat. 54° 50' N., Long. 11° 8' E., is situated on the West coast of the island of Laaland. The depth of water in the channel is 16 feet, in the harbour about 21 feet. The wharves are 5 to 7 feet above water and are provided with railroad tracks. Coal, provisions and water can be obtained in reasonable quantities. Time signal regulated by Greenwich mean noon. There is no regular tugboat, but the assistance of a small steamer can be obtained. Nexø. Nexo is on the island of Bornholm in the Baltic in Lat. 55° 4' N., Long. 15° 8' E. In the channel and in the harbour there are 16 feet of water. There is no tugboat. Small repairs can be done to vessels and engines, as there is a foundry and machine shop, but the dry dock can only accommodate a vessel of 165 feet in length. A limited quantity of coal, provisions and water can be obtained. Nørre Sundby. Nørre Sundby is situated on the Liim Fjord opposite to Aalborg. Wharf with 24 feet of water is found here. For all further information see Aalborg. Nyborg. Nyborg on the East coast of the island of Fyen is situated in Lat. 55° 19' N. Long. 10° 48' E. at the head of a fjord about 3 English miles long, branching off from the Great Belt. The new harbour has 24 feet of water, and the old harbour 14 to 18 feet. The wharves are 2 to 6 feet above water, and are provided with railroad tracks. Small repairs can be executed as there is a foundry and a machine shop. Coal, provisions and water are plentiful. Time signal regulated by Greenwich mean noon. Pilots obtained at »Slipshavn« at the entrance to the fjord. Outside the har- bour are the roads with excellent anchorage in about 8 fathoms of water and good holding ground, fairly well sheltered from all winds.
