Coal, provisons and water are plentiful. Wharves with railroad tracks, ware-
houses and grain elevators. The wharves are lighted by electricity. A diver
can be obtained at reasonable rates. Time signal regulated by Greenwich

Rødby Havn.
Rødby Haun is situated on the South coast of the island of Laaland
in Lat. 54° 39' N., Long. 11° 21' E. 15 to 16 feet is found at the entrance
and in the harbour. Shipbuilding yard with light slipways for vessels of
up to 1500 tons displacement. All kinds of repairs to iron vessels can be
done. Coal, provisions and water plentiful.
Rønne.
Rønne on the island of Bornholm in the Baltic in Lat. 55° 6' N.
Long. 14° 42' E. There are about 23 feet of water. Pilots can be obtained,
and, there being no tugboat, the small steamers belonging to the port will
undertake towing, when required. Machine shops and iron foundries for small
repairs. A limited quantity of coal and provisions can be obtained. Water
is plentiful. Time signal regulated by Greenwich mean noon.
Stubbekjøbing.
Stubbekjobing is situated on the North coast of the island of Falster
in Lat. 54° 54' N., Long. 12° 3' E. There is a dredged channel with about
20 feet of water and in the harbour and alongside the wharf about 20 feet
can be carried. There is no tugboat, but small steamers can be obtained for
towing purposes. Railroad tracks on the wharf. Machine shops for small
repairs. Coal, water and provisions plentiful.
Svendborg.
Svendborg, in Lat. 55° 4' N.» Long. 10° 37' E., is situated on the
South coast of the island of Fyen. There are two entrances to the harbour.
At the eastern entrance there are 22 feet of water, at the western entrance
20 feet. There are railroad tracks on the wharves. Machine shops for small
repairs. There are no regular tugboats, but the small coasting steamers
will undertake towing work. Provisions, coal and water are plentiful. Time
signal regulated by Greenwich mean noon.
