Among vegetables may be mentioned Amager white cabbage which has won a name for itself on account of its excellent quality and its keeping properties, which facts have secured it a good market not only in Europe (Russia, Finland, Germany and Austria-Hungary), but also in the United States, which country during years favourable to the growing of this cabbage takes large quantities. During 1913 8.536.000 kilos of this com- modity were exported. Furthermore a quantity of carrots, onions, peas, celery, cauliflower etc. was exported. Besides a quantity of desiccated vegetables and tinned vegetables was exported.
