INDIAN THEATRE.
This unique attraction is situated in the East Gardens, and during the run of the
Exhibition varied programmes, illustrative of Indian life, Snake Charming, Juggling,
etc., will be given at intervals every afternoon and evening.
WATER CHUTE.
Who has not heard of the Water Chuto that took London by storm last year? It
formed the sensation of the Earl’s Court Exhibition, and the proprietors have, at the
invitation of the Management, erected a similar structure in the Kelvin, down which
the visitor must travel before it can be said that he has “ done” the Exhibition.
SWITCHBACK RAILWAY.
Our old friend the Switchback Railway is situated in the North Gardens, and should
prove as great an attraction as when it was first started in 1888. During the last
twelve years many novelties have blossomed and died, whilst the sensation created by
a ride on a switchback car retains its invigorating attractiveness.

MILITARY RIFLE RANGE.
The lesson which has been taught the nation in South Africa—that men who can
shoot straight can hold a disciplined army in check—has inspired the Management to
grant space to the School of Musketry, 330 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, for the
erection of a Military Rifle Range in the North Gardens. Here the military aspirant,
or shall we say “Burgher?” can practise shooting with small bore rifles at Paterson’s
patent electric and eelf-indicating targets.
SHOOTING JUNGLE.
And the sportsman has not been forgotten, for a largo and well-arranged Shooting
Jungle, combining all the latest devices to give life-like representations of animals
in their natural state, has been erected in the North Gardens by the London Shooting
Accessories Company.
