The following periodicals deal with cacao production :
Bulletin of the Imperial Institute. For authoritativc articles on cacao cultivation, see pp. 40-95, 1919 ; pp. 36-73, 1920 ; p. 189, 1921, etc.
Tropical Life. Gives prominence to cacao. It is edited by H. Hamel Smith, who writes the Statistical Market Reports on Cacao.
The West India Committee Circular. Contains articles on cacao of special interest to West Indians.
West Africa. Contains reliable articles on all that concerns West African prosperity.
The Gordian. A German periodical, published in Hamburg. Its cacao statistics are the most complete published.
There is no British periodical which deals scientifically with cocoa and chocolate manufacture save Research, which is issued by the Cocoa and Chocolate, etc., Research Association, 9 Queen Street Place, E.C.4, for the private use of its members. On the commercial side one should consult The Confectioners’ Union.
