most important one, a large silver gilt cup, was
executed by the Establishment.
When in 1863 H. R. H. Princess Alexan-
dra celebrated her wedding with H. R. H. the
Prince of Wales the Establishment supplied,
as a marriage-present from the Landgrave of
Hesse and his family, a set of ornaments in
Old Northern style (see Fig. 2).
In 1864 the Establishment manufactured
the christening present from H. M. King Chri-
stian IX to his first-born grandchild, the late
Duke of Clarence and Avondale who died in
1891, consisting of a gold cup (see Fig. 4) from
a design by the late Professor Heinr. Hansen.
In 1867 H. M. King Christian IX and
Queen Louise celebrated their silver wedding;
