In 1888 the present of H. M. King Chri-
stian IX and Queen Louise to H. R. H. the
Prince of Wales and Princess Alexandra, on
the occasion of their silver wedding, was a
silver tabic service from a design by Mr. Enk
Schiodtc (see Fig. 9).
In 1890 the Establishment supplied the
gift from the Government of the United States
and the Danish Government to the Hon. Sir
Edmund John Monson, H. B. M’s ambassador
in Athens, in acknowledgment of his efforts
as arbitrator in the so-called Butherfield affair
(see Fig. 10).
In 1892 the Establishment participated in
supplying the present to H. M. King Christian
IX and Queen Louise on their golden wedding
by manufacturing, from a design by Mr. Arnold
