GRAVITY BUCKET CONVEYORS 141 between the terminals, and it is driven by a 5 H.P. electric motor. It proved so successful that a second conveyor of the same type was installed in the following year. With this form of conveyor it is feasible to discharge light packages not only from the descending carriers, but also from the ascending carriers and those moving horizontally.
