South Saloon. 149 Alcove No. VII. is occupied by an exhibit from the London School Board, illustrating the whole range of work from the Kindergarten to the Higher Grade School. Alcove No. VIII. has exhibits of Educational work from the Blind Asylums of Glasgow and Edinburgh, and also from the Deaf and Dumb Institution, Langside, Glasgow; The Fitzroy Square Institution, and the Norwood College for the Blind, London. LISTS OF SCHOOLS AND INSTITUTIONS CONTRIBUTING EXHIBITS. PRIMARY EDUCATION, INCLUDING KINDERGARTEN. Albums of work, Specimens of “Hand and Eye” training, Drawing, Writing, and Time Tables, Photos, etc., from the School Boards of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Govan, Leith, Perth, Stirling, Paisley, Coatbridge, Kirkcaldy, and also from some Schools not contributing directly through their Boards. SECONDARY EDUCATION. Time Tables, Photos., Drawings, Manual Work, etc., and specially prepared Albums illustrating the courses followed in the different schools, from the Higher Departments and Higher Grade Schools and High Schools under the School Boards mentioned above, and also from such Secondary Schools as Kelvinside Academy, Glasgow Academy, Hutchesons’ Grammar Schools, Dollar Institution, Fettes College, St. Mungo’s Academy, St. Aloysius College, The Merchant Company s Schools, St. George’s High School, Edinburgh, Nicolson Institute, Stornoway, Ayr Academy, Falkirk High School, and the Ewart High School, Newton Stewart. The nature of the Secondary Education provided in “Schools of Science will be shown by exhibits from George Heriot’s School, Edinburgh; Peoples Palace, London, Sharpe’s Institution, Perth; and Allan Glen’s School, Glasgow.
