TERÉZ-KÔRÜT ÉS OKTOGON-TÉR. — A magyar fôvàros egyik legdiszesebb tere van elôttünk ; az a hely, ahol a Terez-körut szeli åt a hatalmas, öriäsi palotàkkal hatårolt Andråssy-utat. Az Oktogon-tér ez, amely nevét onnan nyerte, hogy ott a palotåk az utak nyilt vonalaival nyolcz-szoget (oktogon) képeznek. Innen pillanthatunk be a Terez-körutra, amely egy része a nagy-körütnak s amely ép oly gyorsasåggal épült ki, mint az Andråssy-dt. A Teréz-kôrût sole pompas palotàja között szembe ôtlik itt a Kunosy-féle nyomdåé, amely a fôvàros egyik elsôrangu müintézetei kôzé tartozik es ahol a Laurencic Gyula åltal kiadott «Ezeréves Magyarorszàg» kiadöhivatala is van. THERESIENRING UND OCTOGONPLATZ IN BUDAPEST. — Vor uns steht einer der schönsten Plätze der ungarischen Hauptstadt. Es ist der Treffpunkt des breiten Theresienringes mit den riesigen Palästen der Andràssystrasse. Den Namen «Octogon- platz» erhielt derselbe von dem Achtwinkel (Octogon), den hier der Platz mit der Bauflucht der einmündenden Strasse bildet. Man übersieht von hier den Theresien- ring, dessen schöne Häuser von hier besonders ins Auge fallen, so z. B. die Kunosy’- sche Druckerei, die zu den ersten typo-lithographischen Anstalten Budapest's gehört und in deren Gebäude sich auch die Administration unseres Werkes befindet. Cette place a reçu le nom d’octogone à cause de la forme géométrique que présentent à ce point les alignements des constructions de ces deux grandes voies de communication. De ce point, la vue s’étend sur tout le boulevard Thérèse où se trouvent dans, la belle maison de l’imprimerie et lithographie artistiques Kunosy et fils, les bureaux d’admini- stration de l’ouvrage «la Hongrie millénaire» publié par Mr. le Directeur Jules Laurencic. THE THERESIEN-RING AND THE OCTAGON, BUDAPEST. — This is on of the finest points in the Capital, formed by the intersection of the Ring with the majestic Andråssy avenue. Its name «Octagon» is derived, from its shape. From this point a fine view is obtained of the Theresien-ring, which forms part of the great ring and which was constructed with the same celerity as the Andråssy avenue.- There are many fine mansion standing on this ring, amongst others that of Kunosy’s printing estab- lishment, one of the best typographical establishments. The publishing Offices of the «Millenary of Hungary» edited by Director J, Laurencic, are also located there.
