Des dimensions de l’ensemble on peut se rendre compte de son importance, et voir par là combien sont justifiés les voeux faits par chaque fils dévoué de la Patrie pour la réussite de cette grande entreprise reflétant la gran- deur et la gloire d’une histoire de mille ans, et qui sera le centre des fêtes et réjouissances na- tionales organisées pour ce grand anniversaire. — • C’est l’exposition qui est appelée à rendre par ses splendeurs ce qu’on ne saurait dire à l’aide de livres et de des- criptions, car, au point de vue de l’intérêt qu’elle présentera, on peut d’ores et déjà affirmer, qu’elle rivalisera avec les exposi- tions précédentes de la Monarchie et de l’Etranger. GENERAL-VIEW OF THE EXHIBITION. — This View pré- sents a picture of all the parts of the Exhibition. It emanates from the Studio of the eminent Painter and Designer Arthur Heyer. It shows the Exhibition in all its beauty, and in a truly artistic perfection. The dimen- sions of the whole arrangement, give a correct conception of its extraordinary magnitude, proving how weil founded those cherished hopes are, which every true Son of the Fatherland justly enter- tains as to its entire success, as in reallity it will reflect, so to say from a huge Mirror, the Greatness and the Fame of a Thousand years of History, thus becomming the brillant centre of all the solemn festivities in commémoration of a millenary Existence. The Exhibition is in- tended to represent all that, no Books, no Descriptions ever could make intelligible, it will undoubtedly surpass in high at- tractiveness, all similar under- takings at-home and abroad. The whole Country and all Classes of the Population are taking part in this national Enterprise, eager to show the world, the enormous progress the Nation has made.
