LE ROND-POINT DU BOIS DE VILLE A BUDAPEST. — Entouré de bosquets et bordé de hauts et majestueux peupliers, le rond-point du bois de ville, avec ses magnifiques parterres de fleurs et ses jets d’eau élégants au milieu, est l’endroit de prédilection de mille promeneurs. Au printemps et même pendant les belles journées d'hiver, il est très animé par le va-et-vient des piétons et surtout par le mouvement incessant des nombreux et brillants équipages qui y défilent pour se rendre de l’avenue Andråssy à l’avenue Stéphanie dans le bois de ville. A l’arrière-plan on aperçoit le gracieux pavillon de la Direction de l’exposition millénaire, la cheville ouvrière de la grande entreprise destinée à célébrer la gloire et la grandeur de la Nation. THE GREAT RONDEAU IN THE TOWN-PARK, BUDAPEST. — The enormous parklike circular space, with the fountain in its centre, and above all with the finely wooded surroundings, offers an imposing view. Thousands visit it daily, taking there on the spacious footpaths, between the ornamental flower beds, their plaisure walk. In the back-ground the Building is seen, where the Offices of the Board of Direc- tors are located, that is to say the building which forms the Centre of activity, where all the countless threads of management are uniting, and from whence the whole intellectual work of the Exhibition is conducted, insuring success to the enter- prise, rcdounding to the glory, advantage and happiness of the Nation.
