A SZÉKES-FÔVÂROSI TANÂCSHÂZ ÜLÉSTERME. — A fôvâros tulajdonåt ké- pezô épületek között elsôrangû helyet foglal el a Lipôt-utczàban lévô székes-fôvà- rosi tanàcshâz. Lépcsôhâza egyike a müépitészet remekeinek. Az ülésterem, a me- lyet képünkkel olvasöinknak bemutatunk, szintén méltô az épület nagyszerüségéhez. Az amphiteatràlis padsorok, az elnöki emelvény disze, a csillâr ôriâsi dimenziöi, a plafond pompâja harmonikus egészet képez. Innen intézik a vàros bölcsei a székes- fôvâros ügyeit ; itt futnak össze mindazok a szàlak, a melyeket a pompàs metropolis virâgzâsâra, dicsô'ségére, gazdagodàsàra és üdvére egy bölcs rendszer eddigelé oly igaz hüséggel tartott kezében. DER SITZUNGSSAAL IM RATHHAUSE DER HAUPTSTADT. — Von den öffent- lichen Bauten der Haupt- und Residenzstadt nimmt das «Neue Rathhaus» in der Leopoldgasse einen vornehmen Rang ein. Schon das Treppenhaus ist eine Sehens- würdigkeit, die Viele überraschen wird. Noch sehenswerther ist aber der auf unserem Bilde dargestellte grosse Sitzungssaal der Stadtvertreter, ein Raum, würdig der Grösse und der Bedeutung des modernen Budapests. In entzückender Harmonie vereinigen sich hier der kostbare Plafond, der riesige, kunstvoll gearbeitete Luster, die Eleganz der Präsidententribüne, die Galerien aus weissem Marmor und der amphitheatralisch aufsteigende Innenraum selber. LA SALLE DES SÉANCES A L’HOTEL DE VILLE DE BUDAPEST. — Le nouvel hôtel de ville de Budapest, sis dans la Lipöt-utcza, est un des plus beaux bâtiments publics de la capitale hongroise. L’escalier monumental qui conduit à la salle des séances attire, dès l’entrée, l’attention des visiteurs; mais c’est surtout la salle des séances que notre illustration représente, qui est imposante. Le magnifique plafond, l’immense lustre d’un travail artistique recherché, l’élégance de la tribune présiden- tielle, et l’amphithéâtre tout est d’une harmonie remarquable. C’est dans cette enceinte, que les édiles de la ville de Budapest concertent toutes les questions administratives, financières et autres ayant pour objet d’assurer le développement de la métropole. THE MEETING-HALL AT THE MANSION-HOUSE, BUDAPEST. — Amongst the Municipal Buildings of the Metropolis, the Mansion-House in Lipöt Street, occupies a first rate position. The Vestibul and Staircase are first-class objects of architec- tural Art. The great Meeting-Hall, whicli we present here, forms a most worthy part of this fine Edifice. The seats, disposed in amphithcatrical form, the fine Gallery, the elevated Chair of the presiding Magistrate, the gigantic chandelier and the magnificent ceiling, all form a very harmonious total. All the important Municipal work, is carried on in this splendid Hall, where the Common-Council meets for the direction of the affairs of our Metropolitan Community.
