A kép, melyet bemutatunk, Di- vald Kârolynak eperjesi és bårtfai orszâgos hirü fényképésznek fôlvétele utân készült. E mü néhâny kivâlô szépségü képe szintén Divald eredeti fôlvétele és pedig a Csorbai-tô, a Lomniczi-csücs, az Aggteleki barlang, Nagytarpatak, a Magas-Tâtra és Zborô làtôképe. BAD BARTFELD (BÅRTFA.) — Der Weg nach diesem entzückenden oberungarischen Bade führt über die Topolya im Thale des Breznik. Eine halbe Stunde von der Stadt Bartfeld entspringt, mitten in dichtesten Fichtenwäldern und in einer Höhe von 310 M. die Mineralquelle, welche zu den kochsalzhaltigen Eisensäuerlingen gehört und sich heute eines Weltrufes erfreut. In diesem Badeorte verbrachte unsere erhabene Königin den vorigen Sommer und fand Erholung und Zerstreuung. Sowohl dieses, als auch einige andere in diesem Werke reproduzirte Bilder u. zw. der Csorbaer See, die Lomni- czer Spitze, die Höhle von Aggtelek, Nagytarpatak, die hohe Tatra und die Burgruine Zborö entstammen dem fotografischen Atelier des Carl Divald in Eperies und Bartfeld STATION BALNÉAIRE DE BÂRTFA. — Cette station balnéaire est une des plus recherchées de la Haute-Hongrie. L’établissement des bains, installé très confortable- ment, se trouve au milieu d’une forêt de sapins à une altitude de 310 mètres. Les magnifiques promenades qui partent de cet établissement et y aboutissent, l’air pur et balsamique qu’on y respire, en font un séjour des plus agréables. Sa Majesté la Reine de Hongrie, Elisabeth, y fit l'été dernier un séjour prolongé. La présente illustration ainsi que diverses autres, contenues dans les fascicules précédents, notam- ment: le lac de Csorba, le pic de Lomnicz, la grotte d’Aggtelek, le Nagy-Tarpatak etc. proviennent de l’atelier du photographe bien connu Ch. Divald à Eperies et à Bârtfa. THE BATH OF BÂRTFA. — it used to be said. that «Extra Hungariam non est vita», and still there is life here yct. Since it was discovered that the country was blessed with many springs of mineral waters, it is no more necessary C g. , abroad in search of health and life. Such a place blessed with powerful waters is Bârtfa with its comforts and fine climate. Our most gracious Queen spent last summer there, deriving benefit and pleasure from her stay there. The view we offer here is a repro- duction of a photo from the studio of the well known Photographer Cnarles Divald of Eperjes, wo supplied many fine illustrations to this work, such as the view of the Lake of Csorba, Lomnicz-Peak, High-Tåtra, Zborö, Cave of Aggtelek etc.
