kiållitåsåra szolgål. A «Plasztikon» egy rendkivül érdekes külônlegességét képezi a palo-
tåban berendezett mor tükôr-tévkert, mely egyedül ållo Europåban. — A måsik, a zene-
akadémia palotåja, egyszerübb ; itt fejlesztik a jövö zenemüvész nemzedéket.
DAS KÜNSTLERHAUS, DERZEIT PLASTIKON UND DIE MUSIKAKADEMIE IN
BUDAPEST. — Im ersteren Gebäude arrangirte bisher die ungarische Gesellschaft
für bildende Künste ihre Ausstellungen, welche von nun ab im neuen Palais am
Ende der Andråssy-Strasse veranstaltet werden. Jetzt dient das Gebäude ausschliess-
lich als plastisches Museum, in welchem sowohl historisch-patriotische, als auch mo-
derne plastische Kunstwerke ständig ausgestellt sind. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der
maurische Spiegel-Irrgarten, welcher in Europa einzig dasteht. — Erheblich ein-
facher präsentirt sich daneben das Palais der königl. ung. Musikakademie.

LE PALAIS DE LA SOCIETÉ HONGROISE DES BEAUX-ARTS ACTUELLEMENT
MUSÉE «PLASTICON» ET L’ACADÉMIE NATIONALE DE MUSIQUE A BUDAPEST.
Le premier a jusqu’ici été affecté, aux expositions semestrielles du Salon. Dorénavant
ces expositions auront lieu dans le nouveau palais des beaux-arts construit à l’extrémité
de l’avenue Andràssy. L’ancien palais a reçu une autre destination et sert actuelle-
ment de musée permanent pour l’art plastique, où sont exposés des oeuvres d’art
historiques, modernes etc ; le Jardin-Labyrinthe mauresque à jeu de miroir de l'étab-
lissement est unique en Éurope. Le palais contigu d’un style plus simple mais correct
est affecté à l’Académie Nationale de musique.
THE PALACE OF ARTS, AT PRESENT THE PLASTICON, AND THE ACADEMY
OF MUS1C. — In the first namcd Edifice the Hungarian Society of Arts used to hold
their Exhibitions, which however will henceforth be arranged in their new Gallery at the
end of the Andråssy Avenue. At present the old Palace is exclusively used as a museum
of plastic works of a historical and patriotical character, forming a permanent exhibition
of such works. As an interesting and rare speciality, forming part of the Plasticon, we
may mention the «Mirror-Labyrinth» there. The Edifice of the Royal Hungarian Academy
of Music is a structure of a more modest character, in which the rising generation
of musical artists are instructed in this Art.
